Expertise

Dr. Christian Jakob LL.M. advises mainly medium-sized companies in all business stages and primarily in contract law issues. He works on corporate acquisitions and corporate restructuring. Christian supports clients in strategic negotiations and manages the representation in court.

In addition to the legal expertise Christian has a profound understanding of technical correlations. Because of this interest Christian acquired the additional degree “Master of Laws” in the field of Information Law and is the adviser for matters IT-law and data protection law.

Christian is co-author of the college textbook “Die Staatsanwaltsklausur: Prüfungswissen für das Assessorexamen“, a book for legal clerks in the criminal Assessor exam.

Born 1982. Married. After Abitur (German university entrance qualification) at Liebfrauenschule Oldenburg, law studies at the University of Bremen (State Examination / Dipl.-Jur.) and at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg (LL.M. – Master of Laws Information law).

Legal clerkship in the district of the Higher Regional Court of Oldenburg with stops at the Regional Court of Oldenburg, the Law Department of the City of Oldenburg, the public prosecution department in Oldenburg and the Department of Public Law at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg.

Doctorate at the Department of Civil, Commercial and Economic Law and legal computer science at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg. Fellow of the DFG Graduate School TrustSoft.

Part-time lecturer at the Lower Saxony Institute in the fields of administrative law and civil law.

Founding partner of the revision course Repetitoriums AssessorenRep, which offers preparatory classes for the Second State Examination in the fields of criminal law.
